Collins LLC is a partnership between RPS and the College of Arts and Sciences. The Collins program emphasizes five principles: academics, community, diversity, sustainable living, and student empowerment. Visit the Collins LLC site for more information about the community. The residential center is comprised of a central cluster of three four-story buildings (Edmondson, Cravens, and Smith), two satellite buildings (Brown and Greene Halls), and Hillcrest Apartments. It is coed - single gender (all residents same gender on a floor) and mixed gender (intermixed male and female rooms on a floor). Hillcrest is in the standard
cost group, while the rest of Collins is not air-conditioned and is in the economy cost group. Single and double rooms, suites, two-room suites, and one- and two-bedroom apartments are available. With the exception of Hillcrest apartments, the bathrooms are community with shared multiple toilet and shower stalls, and sinks in a large room. They are designated for single-gender use. Hillcrest does not offer custodial services in the apartments and does not provide paper or cleaning supplies. For information about academic support, bed arrangements, parking, etc., see our facility comparison chart.
