Cooperative Housing

These communities offer a means to live on campus for less. Residents share responsibility for performing housekeeping tasks in the Cooperative Housing Community (Co-op).

Required tasks are scheduled on a rotating basis and include:

  • Taking out trash.
  • Cleaning common areas and restrooms with environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
  • Vacuuming and mopping community floors.

Community members may be removed and lose the housing credit for failing to perform assigned tasks. The Co-op manuals below provide detailed information about the chores and expectations in these communities.

Co-ops offer students a chance to be a part of a close-knit community and the ability to lower their living expenses.

  • No annual program fee
  • Cooperative housing costs with and without air-conditioning
  • Double rooms
  • Central and southeast neighborhoods

Who Lives Here

All undergraduate students are welcome to live in the Co-op community.
